TERMS AND CONDITIONS of Bedbugsnorthwest.com

If you read, post, or comment on Bedbugsnorthwest.com, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time. Please review them periodically to be sure you are aware of such changes.

Bedbugsnorthwest.com is offered “as is,” without warranty. We are not responsible for any bad ideas, inaccuracies, or errors which are contained on the site.

Bedbugsnorthwest.com cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies. This site is intended to provide links and access to information about bed bugs, opinions and anecdotes.

Please seek professional help in detecting and treating bed bugs, in diagnosing possible medical conditions, or in dealing with legal matters. Nothing on this web site should be construed as professional pest control advice, legal or medical.

No advice here should be construed as “professional” advice, even if the person offering it claims to be a professional, such as in a comment.

We are not liable for any harm which may come to you or your property based on actions you take (or don’t take) after reading or posting to the site.

The owner of the site is not responsible for the opinions posted here by other bloggers, or blog commenters. You are responsible for what you say on Bedbugsnorthwest.com.

You should carefully consider what you choose to share via comments. Blog comments are indexed by google and are therefore public.

Keeping your personally identifiable information private is your responsibility; it cannot easily be undone. Please do not post anything you will regret later. Consider choosing a username that does not identify you, and do not give out emails, phone numbers, or real names. Your username cannot changed once you submit a post.

If you make a mistake once and disclose something about yourself which you should not and need a post or part of a post to be deleted, this is not a problem, but please do not ask for your account to be removed or for all of your posts to be deleted. This is extremely difficult, a lot of work, and not fair on other users for a variety of reasons.

Please do not post anything on Bedbugsnorthwest.com which you know to be false, or which you do not know to be true, or make suggestions which you do not know to be legal. Please do not harass, threaten, or stalk users of the site via private messages, or public posts. And, it should go without saying, please be nice to others. Please do not post personally identifying information about other people.  Please do not repost others’ private messages or emails to you without explicit permission.  Please do not post images or text copyrighted by others, unless you’re clearly quoting someone (and linking back to them).

Bedbugsnorthwest reserves the right to delete anything, anytime, for any reason, at our discretion, without explanation.

However, if something is not deleted, this does not constitute approval by the site owner.

Bedbugsnorthwest may, in its sole discretion, with or without notice, suspend or terminate your use of this site and/or remove or discard any content on the site, for any reason and without limitation. Bedbugsnorthwest may also bar you from any future access to the site. We may change, suspend, or terminate the website at any time, for any reason, without notice.

People who provide bedbug-related products and services are welcome to read and comment on the blog. Please disclose any professional relationship you have to any product or company you are commenting on.

However, advertising is only allowed by arrangement and in the space provided. Do not advertise in the blog comments; do not spam us with links to your product or service, or post comments that are veiled sales pitches. (Enquire by email if you’re not sure what’s appropriate.)

Never talk about a company you own or work for (or have other relationships with) as if you are a customer (yes, we can tell, and it may be very embarrassing for you when we do). Disclose your relationship with companies you mention.

If you have had a bad experience with a pest company post your review on YELP where it will really help others. We will not post negative reviews that specifically name a pest company to avoid being sued. But you can do a lot more damage posting on YELP.

If you use the site, you agree with our PRIVACY POLICY.
